What a gem in Carmel by the sea. Excellent location and very very spacious rooms. We stayed at king suite with a porch overlooking the ocean. Everything was excellent. Clean and friendly staff

"We are already planning a return trip, it was that good."

We had an amazing view of the ocean from our room and deck. Every morning I would walk to the little coffee shop around the corner and come back and watch the sun come up while listening to the ocean.

There wasn't a coffee maker in the room. The pillows were very hard, but the mattress was comfortable. There was a sign above the jacuzzi tub stating to only use bath salts, but none were provided.

Location. Staff are polite and willing to help, but not very well knowledgeable about the area.

Facilities old. Carpet dirty. Room has a smell. Towels and bed sheets not that clean.
