Hôtel Authentic by Balladins Dijon/Marsannay-la-Côte

Nedslidt hotel. Badeværelset lugtede indelukket/fugtigt. Ungerne var glade for poolen - men den var fyldt med blade. For dyrt ift. standarden.

Staff very accomodating good value as an Airline Pilot i would recommend

Quick stop . Delightful people on reception. Bar open and the local glass of wine was delicious. Room clean and modern. Pool warm and clean, lovely after long journey. Just a shame no food or snacks on a Sunday, when we were there. The corridor not great but had recently had a leak and the carpet was being replaced.

Overall a great value place to stay when in Dijon. Close to huge Cora supermarket and only 10 minutes drive from the historic old town centre. Super friendly and helpful staff. Was very convenient to have plenty of free parking.

We were driving through and just needed a place to crash. Not looking for something fancy and lots of options around. Sadly you can’t smell the pictures on the internet but there was a strong sewage smell in our room and in the lobby area. In addition, the shower was warm at best and the plumbing was noisy.

Nice little overnight stop with country on two sides. Rooms very quiet. So quiet I tapped walls & ceiling. They are solid. The window also well soundproofed. We did not realise until opening the curtain that a busy dual carriageway was only about 40 feet away. Room compact with a double bed. A sofa bed located in slightly separate part that also had a large shelf & just the right height for our overnight case. The room/bathroom were vey clean & had a total of three electric sockets. Public areas. Reception, bar & dinning room also clean. The dinning room held our forty plus with room to spare. Nice evening meal. We are used to overnights & have to say that the selection of food available at breakfast was a little spartan even by French standards.

Overnight stop heading north, family room booked which was twin beds & a sofa bed. Cramped room & very hard beds. Restaurant was great & staff really good. Breakfast was good & nice fresh bread. Pool was a welcome addition for kids to gave a dip after long day travelling.

Stop over stay in Dijon en route to Aix. We were there for less than 12 hours and it served it's purpose perfectly well. Sofa bed not the most comfortable but other beds were OK. Unable to order childrens menu for 12 year old children was a bit of a pain. Staff very helpful and put up with my poor French.

Easy location

Ground floor room facing the car park, which blackout curtains, but no net curtains or privacy. I opened the curtains after my shower to a family sat in their car facing my window. The lighting in the room was poor, so we had to get dressed in the dim light.
