Staff was super friendly and the location was good for a quick city stay. Lots of variety in places to eat in the neighborhood.

Seems that some maintenance and upkeep is slipping. There's a development proposal sign on the lawn, so that could have a lot to do with it.

Hoewel alles er oud en beetje versleten uitziet leek het me wel schoon. Bed was schoon en goed, en douche en toilet ook. De vloer van hout of laminaat, en gelukkig was er geen vloerbedekking. Vloer was schoon. Daarmee voldeed de plek aan waar ik naar op zoek was. Verder zag het er van buitem wel leuk uit, al die verschillende huisjes.

Mij viel tegen dat je bij aankomst te horen krijgt dat je 300 can dollar borg moet betalen. Dat wordt niet als een apart bedrag gereserveerd, maar je betaalt in één betaling kosten verblijf én borg. Dit vind ik niet overzichtelijk. Bovendien vind ik het een belachelijk hoog borgbedrag, waaruit wantrouwen naar de klant spreekt. Als de sleutel kwijtraakt moet 100 can dollar worden betaald. Ook dat vind ik buitensporig.

I like how much cool history it has with movies and how it has lots of grass and park areas. It’s wonderful it’s pet friendly.

The curtains are thick black out but there’s no sheer curtains. Sheer curtains would be nice. it’s nice to have privacy and natural light.

We stayed at the 2400 for 1 night on May 23rd. We checked out the next day for the following reasons: There had been a police incident at the office. Blood everywhere inside the office and outside, splashed on walls and windows. A pile of bloody towels laying on the office floor. Persons of the night who live in the room next door were carrying on all night very noisy! Very uncomfortable bed. Dirty room. Windows did not lock or even latch. Original wooden windows from the 1950s. People up all night outside being loud. Building something? Dogs barking. We did not sleep. Way over priced! Do not stay here!!!!!

I loved my two-night stay at this iconic vintage motel. The room was ample size and clean, and the bed was comfortable. The Wifi was good, and the ceiling fan and tea kettle worked well. The bathroom was small but big enough, with a good shower, and I liked that they provided washcloths as well as face and bath towels, and also bar soap as well as liquid soap. The grounds seemed well maintained, with picnic tables and old fashioned lawn chairs. The location was perfect for what I needed to do in Vancouver, and, while Kingsway is a busy street, I enjoyed the energy and the mix of restaurants, etc.

Since the rooms are on the ground floor (in "cottages"), I would have been uncomfortable leaving a window open (at night).
