Hotel Atlanta Augustus

A very comfortable firm bed, the lovely breakfast (especially eating in the outdoor area) and proximity to everything while still feeling calm and residential. Housekeeping was excellent and most front desk staff were very friendly. I loved the historic building.

The "fridge" in my room did not work (even though I asked for someone to check) with any plugs nearby. Also even if I wanted to use this fridge it would only be big enough to hold 3 small water bottles. No access to ice in the hotel either.

Schon beim Ankommen freundlicher Eindruck, netter Empfang, herzliches Willkommen. Zimmer gross, sauber, sehr gepflegt, Bad ebenso, Bett bequem. Lage fussläufig zur Vaporetto-Station, aber ruhige Seitenstrasse ohne den Touri-Rummel der Granviale. Frühstück mit richtigen Brot ;)), Brötchen, Dolce, Obst, gekochten Eiern, Säfte und richtig gutem Kaffee! Und dann noch die super nette Angestellte im Frühstücksraum. Passt alles! Für mich seit Jahren das beste Hotel in Venedig, für meine Reisen nach hier. Und das nächste Mal sicher wieder ins Atlanta Augusta.

Bischen langsames Wifi nervt, hätte gerne noch eine bequeme Sitzmöglichkeit im Zimmer. Aber das ist on top eines schönen Aufenthaltes.

Great room on 4th floor with a terrace where we had sunset drinks & dinner picnics. Comfortable bed. Good air con. Fridge in room was handy. Flat 5 minute walk from vaporetto & Alilaguna stops. Great cappuccino from machine at breakfast - could make it a decent flat white by adding an espresso shot. Near a great fruit shop & a small Coop supermarket. Good restaurants nearby. A bit more restful than staying in San Marco or Castello.

Lift broke down one evening so had to walk up 4 flights of stairs but they had it fixed the next day. Would have been good to know at breakfast or when handing in our key, on the day of the general strike, about transport limitations but we worked it out & made it back 😅
