Mixed bag with this place. It's old and charming with a nice lobby lounge area. Rooms are fine but getting shabby. Worst parts were the loud horrible mechanical/building sounds in our room. And breakfast was cereal and fruit but sometimes no milk... Overall terrible value for the money, unless you absolutely have to be right downtown on the main street.

This is a cute older hotel in the middle of downtown Steamboat Springs. The room we stayed in is tiny, probably the smallest room i have ever stayed in. The shower is equally tiny just perfect for my 4ft 11 inch small frame. Not so for my average size husband! There is no space in the room for a chair but there are several cozy sitting areas available. This is a funky and fun hotel with a lot of character, good beds and a friendly staff. Not sure if it is worth the price tag but i guess everything is high priced these days?

Our family loved the unique connected room configuration - we had the kids in one room with their own bathroom but connected to ours. It was great!

They had given my room away. I had pre-paid and had confirmation but they said they were full and I had checked in earlier. They had my confirmation form but someone else had signed in and gotten room. In the end they did get me a room. All good. I would move the extra tile and construction stuff out of hot tub room though or just put up a curtain

Room very dirty, dirt in bed, nothing wiped down in a long time, cob webs, dirty bathroom Floor, linens not clean, lady checking us in did not speak English. This used to be our favorite place to stay, we will no longer stay here.

Staff lugged our bags upstairs, but we'd have liked an elevator. We met a nice couple at breakfast, served in homey lobby, and had good dinners in town, but all in all, not a luxury hotel experience. TV didn't work.
