Hilton Garden Inn Nanuet

The fire alarm went off at 12am. The manager had no idea what to do! When the fire dept was still onsite, a guest told the manager the elevators needed a key to be reset and the manager said nothing to the fire department before they left, didn't know where the key was, just kept pushing elevator buttons. 15 minutes later on the phone with someone and still couldn't figure it out. By 1am my elderly mother had to walk up 4 flights of stairs in pain. The manager should know protocol for specific events. No explanation, no apology, no free breakfast and no decent night sleep!

Hotel wasn’t hard to find

The hotel advertises a restaurant with bar. We planned to stay after a long days ride so we wouldnt have to go out to eat. The desk said the restaurant/bar was closed on Sundays….no notice at reservation or website. Disappointed in this HGInn

It was fine. Clean enough. Basic hotel. Cleaning staff was a bit to enthusiastic walking directly into to our room without knocking 1.5 hours before checkout however.

This hotel is not a great place to stay. They’ve decided to clean rooms every other day of your stay, even though they’re charging you for every day. When you call to request more towels, because they don’t give you enough, they try to question how many people are in the room. Two elevators but one is out of order so during busy times you’re better off taking the stairs. Breakfast is a $20 for a buffet that is not tasty at all. Another hotel right next door is just as nice, probably nicer, but less expensive rooms and free included hot breakfast. They had no vacancy, or I would have been there. This is not what I’ve come to expect from a Hilton with their higher than average prices. Do better.

Hotel was nice and clean. Staff very courteous. Close to highways

I thought the hotel was adequate for a night stay. The room was adequately clean. Hallways and elevator could use a deep cleaning or carpet replacement. One elevator was out of service. Beds were clean and comfortable. Staff was very friendly and went above and beyond to accommodate our room when they were over sold. Overall a good stay.

Very convenient location for our travel needs. Lots of restaurant option in the nearby area
