We were in town for NCA Championship and at another Marriott property that didn’t have room for our final night. I actually wished we stayed at ICON the entire time. The hotel is beautiful and clean with rooms that reminded me of days gone by with the iron decor and bank vault. The staff was extremely friendly and courteous. Jairo was our shuttle driver anytime we needed to go somewhere. He was kind, polite and a very professional driver. We’re so glad we switched from our other Marriott property.

There was a lot going on in Houston and my usual hotel, the JWM downtown was over $1200 a night. This hotel worked great. Nice gym, and as am Ambassador I would as upgraded to a suite. Rooms a bit dated but very clean. Breakfast buffet was terrific. Driss did a great job in serving us and making us feel welcome. Hearsay Lounge across the street is excellent too

I love coming to Hotel Icon’s Bar! Definitely one of the best Bars in Downtown Houston. Jairo made our drinks strong and delicious. I highly recommend coming here with the family, friends, or alone you will not be disappointed!
