Quality Inn Lone Pine near Mount Whitney

We stayed here for 2 nights and 3 days. The shower did not have ANY hot water. It was freezing cold, with temperatures outside also freezing. We were told that they were trying to fix the issue but it wasn’t fixed during our entire stay. We were unable to take a shower for 3 days! Totally unacceptable. I was also told I would receive a refund or credits when I checked out, but it’s been several weeks and I haven’t seen a refund or heard back. Should’ve stayed at any other motel or hotel down the street instead.

Location was excellent

The kid in the next room woke up at night and cried all the time. I had a kid 2 years old with high temperature, so she could not sleep, but needs so much to recover. I went to ask if they, in the next room, need something and if I can help, the door was opened and kid just continued crying. Nobody from staff came to them to let them know that at 5-6 am they are not alone there not sleep.

The room was clean.

The front desk clerk Pam Flemi was horrible. There was no hot water but she was more interested in arguing that she gave an apology, which she didn't, than in customer service. She followed us around the hall. It was creepy. You go cheap, you get cheap, but I got diarrhea from eating the fake eggs from the "complimentary" breakfast.

The staff stood out most at this location. All were extremely friendly and helpful. Truly just nice people.

There was loud construction on the room above us, lasting past 5:00 p.m. I asked the front desk when it would stop and she had “no idea” The water was only lukewarm and when I mentioned it to the morning desk person she replied “they were working on it.” There were no places to sit in the breakfast room so my husband and I departed without breakfast.
