Eviston House Hotel

Can tell the bathroom toilet hasn't been scrubbed well in a while, can see black mold under rim. Walk to train station is at least 15 minutes. Good location to bars and shops. Older hotel spread over multiple buildings so it's a bit like a maze to get through, lots of up and down small flights of stairs.

Friendly staff, nice rooms.

Parking for the hotel itself is difficult to find, as access is behind it through another paid lot and a narrow, winding alley. We simply paid rather than risk getting stuck in a tight corner. Traffic is heavy in the area, but lots of walkability for eats, bars, ice cream, music, shopping, coffee... very close to the National Park! Staff were very polite, and the bar/restaurant below was isolated enough from our room on the second floor, that we had no issues with noise. Minor quibble with the ensure bathroom: everything is a bit dated. The tub and shower are narrow and difficult to stand in comfortably (would be unsafe for older folks). Overall, very satisfied and would recommend.

The town is super cute. This hotel is in a perfect location. Loved it

Did some shopping, had a wonderful lunch around the corner. Went to the beach at Inch. Went to a few bars for Trad music. Everyone is very nice.

The food / drinks and live entertainment was great 👍

Basic hotel, but great location.

Parking, if you were lucky to get a spot, was difficult, our room was very cold, floor in our room was very uneven, tub was very tall to climb into and the handheld shower head didn't work. The restaurant was great and if you wanted to walk anywhere in Killarney center, location was good. We would not stay there again.
