The room

The breakfast

The ACE was not working, the water pressure in the bathroom was absolutely terrible and weak.

Nothing

On check in, asked to pay an extra £50 as a damage deposit. Room had blood stains on bed sheets and on chair. Room smelt strongly of smoke. Booked a superior room, goodness knows what a 'normal' room was like. In fact it was so bad that we checked out and moved to a very nice Premier Inn in Central Bournemouth. Do not stay at this Ibis hotel.

Modern, clean, good facilities, lots of parking. The staff were amazing. From reception to the bar staff they couldn’t be more friendly and attentive. It has a good standard of internal decor, rooms are great and location perfect. We were very pleasantly surprised and will stay again without a doubt.

There was little to improve on

Very tired looking breakfast wasn’t very hot & not a lot of choice. Parking expensive

the room was very comfortable and to leave our car whilst we flew was a bonus will definitely use you again

The decor

Spoke to staff before the visit regarding having wheelchair access. No one told us that we would require a member of staff with us every time we wanted to vacate the hotel or enter. It’s seemed a big inconvenience for the staff. Also the breakfast was not a reasonable standard and even when told prior to our visit that we had a vegetarian and a gluten free guest in our party, there was no help from kitchen staff re veggie alternatives and no gluten free alternatives. Very disappointing.
