Beachcomber Resort & Club

There was no gym and they charge you a 40 a day resort fee. I don’t know what for as no one waited on us on the beach or even opened our umbrella and set up or chairs. Balcony’s not private at all can see you neighbor of out at same time. I would not recommend this hotel.

Very clean because I am OCD and it met my standards also the staff was amazing and very accommodating.

So apparently the property was upgraded a couple years ago and downstairs. It looks wonderful and the rooms are.Meh… the bathroom. Looks like something from a motel six there was rust everywhere barely any water pressure I get that we are in a lot of moisture, but they need to do a lot more maintenance and upkeep the other thing I was told by the front desk that it was a fee to have valet park me every day, but they gave me a pass to park across the street in a parking lot I errantly assumed that I would not be charged for parking and I was $16 a day to park my own car and walk across a busy road every single day. When I question this on my bill and said I only used valet the first day they said oh no you get charged you just don’t have to tip valet that is so wrong there is nowhere else to park you cannot park on the street. There’s no parking lots around and so to park in an unoccupied lot across the street near a construction site. I had to pay $16 a day. they also build themselves out as a resort and charge a resort fee. There was nothing included in the resort fee. I’m not sure what I was paying for.

Overall a great experience. Only downfall was ac. Struggled the keep up with temperature and kept turning off

I had visited the Beachcomber on a previous trip and ended up renting one of the cabanas and stayed the day- which was wonderful! Claudia and Mike made that experience so great that on this recent trip, I booked the Beachcomber because I knew it would be a high-quality and enjoyable experience from food to service...and it was! Our server Matt and host, Brian, were also terrific. There are plenty of places to stay on the beach in Pompano, however, the friendliness and great service from your staff is what will keep me coming back. Well done!
