The manager was friendly and eager to make sure you felt welcome and comfortable. Might be good views on a sunny day but nothing special when it is cloudy.

There was no mention of the 3 km gravel road leading to the property in the description That is a big oversight by Booking.com, especially if people don’t want to drive on gravel or it is bad weather and poor road conditions. The rooms are very plain and outdated. The bed was not comfortable and the bedding was just old and worn, not quaint. Soaps and shampoos were in industrial sized pump containers and precariously perched on the edge of the tub. The breakfast was lacking significantly, even for a continental breakfast. Cereal boxes, oatmeal packages, frozen bread for toast, coffee. Considering they advertise the lodge as a bed and breakfast I thought they would make the breakfast something special. Overall a real disappointment considering it is surprisingly rated 8.7 Excellent on Booking.com.

Peaceful retreat with great interaction with fellow guests. Great atmosphere
