We had to remove our shoes before entering which I understand why but we didn’t like leaving them outside in a communal area.

I really enjoyed the location. The view was beautiful. Staff were very kind.

It would have been nice to have a tv and mini fridge in the room. The bathroom could use a new shower curtain and the tap for the bath could use fixing.

Outstanding stay — highly recommended. Alpine Meadows Lodge exceeded all expectations. The property is immaculately clean, and the room was large, spacious, and exceptionally well maintained. The lodge itself is warm, cozy, and perfectly located just minutes from Kicking Horse Mountain Resort. What truly sets this place apart, however, are the owners. They are incredibly kind, warm, and genuinely attentive to every detail. I cannot overemphasize how welcoming and thoughtful they are — it made the stay feel personal rather than transactional. Guests have access to a BBQ and shared fridge, which is very convenient, and the breakfast was plentiful, easy, and well organized. Everything is designed to make your stay comfortable and stress-free. I will absolutely be coming back and would recommend Alpine Meadows Lodge without hesitation to anyone staying in Golden.
