There is a big old spooky shut down hotel blocking your view of the ocean from the pool area and some rooms, there isn't any access to walk along the beach when the tide is in

I liked the pools a lot. I loved having a balcony that overlooked the ocean. That was a huge redeeming quality.

My first night, there were tons of mosquitos in my room and the room was so big the AC wouldn’t cool it down. I hadn’t experienced any mosquito bites outside, so I think the room just hadn’t been cleaned in awhile and had standing water somewhere. So I got bitten maybe 50 times. They moved me into a smaller room and sprayed chemicals for mosquitos. When I was leaving, they were rude about trying to get me a taxi into town and saying I had to pay 200 baht for a 12 minute drive. They only charge that to non-Thais and I know that. Overall, I was not impressed with this run down “resort.” It isn’t very clean, most of the buildings and areas are abandoned, and their beachfront was covered with trash.
