El Dorado Royale, Catamaran, Cenote, All & More Inclusive Adults Only

We celebrated our 20th anniversary here and the staff made us feel special. Beautiful grounds, spotless rooms, and delicious food. From the airport shuttle that they provide to resort staff, we were taken care of with exceptional service and care. We left relaxed and are already planning our return trip!

Amazing guest service

The property was very nice and the staff was very respectful and helpful. They should add a person that makes mexican ice cream by the pool in addition with the swim up bars. 24/7 room service, bartender knowledge on drinks, and the extensive breakfast menu was a plus. Overall a nice trip. Would travel back again.

Staff was very nice, helpful as well. The food was mediocre at best. They had several options to choose from but the flavor and portion size wasn’t there. Seemed to have to order multiple items that didn’t fit together just to feel like you ate. The pools are not good. Dirty and extremely hot. Beach was meh. Couldn’t get in the water, very large rocks at every spot, not talking about the man made reef.

This resort was so amazing. Everyone is so nice and attentive to all your needs! We will definitely be going back!!

My friends and I really enjoyed our stay at the resort! We just wish someone had guided us earlier about all the activities offered—we ended up spending a lot on outside excursions. Meeting Kingston was the highlight of our trip; he was incredibly helpful and always went above and beyond for us!

My son has been hospitalized since 7/23. Begged and pleaded with resort to let me move my dates and was denied. Supposed to be 25th anniversary trip. Still in hospital. Lost everything. At least the airlines gave me partial credit but nothing from the resort. Heartless. I will take my wife to Cancun again but it won’t be with this chain.

Had trouble with water momentarily but staff was responsive and fixed soon after. They offered us to shower in the spa area if we needed.

Water went out for one day, no one seemed to care. Not beach front property. Drive you around in golf carts when most places you can walk but are not informed of this. Water doesn’t drain well on showers or sinks. Staff was friendly. Main pool was dirty & water was murky.

The staff was very kind but the food was not very good at all. For Mexican cuisine, I would imagine that they would have more flavorful food. Also the food and dining options were very limited compared to other resorts in Mexico that I have visited. If you do not catch a shuttle prepare to walk very far in the heat or wait a very long time for a shuttle to take you. Also if you are a lover if the beach I would not recommend this property because you cannot get into the water due to rocks, and the small cove was inaccessible during my stay.
