Good bang for the buck

I can't fault Garden Court. The apartment was pristine, the staff were pleasant and very helpful, and the apartment was well equipped and very comfortable.

The room was nice but it smelt of strong commercial cleaners. The location was very good.

The sassy receptionist. Didn't take feedback well. We arrived 15 minutes before the reception closed and still had to self check in. The area outside the room was dark, we struggled to find our way and had to phone the after hours contact for assistance. We had two singled beds. My friend found her bed uncomfortable.

The apartment is huge. You have everything you need for your stay. The staff were great. The location is fairly close to the town center, around 10 min. There is free parking.

I don't know what it is with NZ accommodation, but heating is done using A/C or heat blowers which can take a while to warm up the room. Some parking spaces are pretty narrow to enter or exit.

Great location, 10 minutes walk to city centre.

Heater in the bathroom not working

Nice apartment, near to city centre.

Nice apartment but have to take the stairs to the bedroom. Was a challenge carrying up our luggage. Just a short walk to the city but must climb a hill to get back to the apartment. Did not get the lake view. Had to pay to use the washing machine.

Very clean and spacious. Good location.

Our apartment was wonderful. 1 bedroom & bathroom upstairs, another downstairs. Stairs externally and internally may be a challenge for those with mobility concerns. Bathrooms were great, loved the heated towel rails. Heating was awesome in all the rooms with panel heaters and split system upstairs, bathrooms were heated too. We were so warm at night despite it being minus 1 degree. Lovely views from windows of lake and mountains. Kitchen was terrific, every appliance we needed, even a dish drawer & a stereo! Nice balcony outside in the sun. Our mattresses & pillows were really comfy, we were in a king size bed, comprised of 2 twin beds pushed together. This meant a gap between the beds, maybe this could be avoided with a mattress topper?
