The view was excellent

The last set of stairs to the unit was very big steps to take. After a whole lot of stairs, these were almost to big. But the view was still stunning.

Wow !! Absolutely amazing place, I definitely recommand. The view is stunning, the room impeccable and comfortable. I was so sad to leave after only 1 night ! The owners were really nice and helpful and breakfast very good too. 10/10

Toilet in the open plan bedroom

Had an amazing one night stay at "The Tops". Starting with the property manager, Tom who went out of his way to make our stay memorable, to the views from the room, to the company of early morning birds; we couldn't have asked for more. The property is located at the right distance from all the amenties and restaurants at Wilderness, including some nature trails. The room was decent in size and fit for one night stay. The breakfast options are just right and Tom did go out of his way to accommodate our vegetarian meal option for breakfast. The property, though old does have some charm about it especially considering how it feels one with nature. Would definitely recommend this property looking for a night's stay at Wilderness.

The walls of the room felt very thin especially with all the noise coming into the room. Also some parts of the room had a rickety feel to it, example the dressing table which caused a rattling noise every time we stepped near it.

Fantastische gastheer Tom, heerlijk ontbijt, schitterend uitzicht. Mooie ruime kamers. Knysna Turacos vliegen geregeld langs en komen fruit eten.

Draai naar toegangspad niet te maken met onze lange auto met volle belasting. Dus iets doorrijden en daar draaien.

Tom was a gem! He is so kind and made me feel so welcome and safe, especially as a solo traveller. All the staff here were lovely and I felt so at home. Tom gave an amazing overview of the area and his love for the area shone through. I'm so glad I made a stop in Wilderness as it is such a special place. Many review mention stairs...if you walk up stairs occasionally in your life you will be fine. They are small and manageable...especially with the luggage lift to assist with bags! If you can manage some stairs...the view is so worth it!! it's also peaceful and you fall asleep to the sound of the sea...even up in the trees! Breakfast is fab and great value. Walking distance to the shops and restaurants with plenty to offer.

The only thing I didn't like was that I didn't have more time here.
