The location is very convenient for day tours of Hearst Castle, Elephant Seal viewing and in the opposite direction, Cambria which has excellent restaurants. The manager Joe who greeted us was very friendly and gave us toy cars to match the Motel theme. It was a quiet weekday so he made sure to give us his best room. Spacious room with ocean and mountain views. Unique retro styled refrigerator and microwave were fun and functional. The room was clean, quiet, and comfortable.
We only stayed one night but I could easily see staying for longer next time.
