Fairfield Inn & Suites Houston Hobby Airport

The Fairfield by Marriot was clean and quiet. The outer area of the hotel was not kept very clean and needs some updating. It is close to the airport and has easy access. The room was comfortable.

* The internet access was not easy. You had to download the app and then use your password (lastname+rm#). The password never worked. I had to use a different unsecured wifi during my stay. Access should be as easy as: "this is the wifi name, this is the password. * The TV was damn-near unusable! 1. The remote(s) provided did not work the on-screen menus. 2. The "lag" time for remote button action was LITERALLY measured in minutes. This was due to the satellite system used according to the staff. * The AC unit's condensation collected on the floor in front of the AC unit resulting in a constantly soaked carpet in that side of the bed. I was highly disappointed as I have stayed in Fairfields in other locations and been very satisfied in the past. Could you please look into these issues and correct them? The area was safe and parking was great. Just when they check you in the CC you give for the deposit they hold they will continue to charge per night $50, $30 until I locked my card.

3 day without water, and no managers to help

Unfortunately I found the breakfast ( hot items) lacking or limited for vegetarian. And there was no hot coffee available for guest in the lobby after breakfast hours. There was a small incident with ants in the room but the staff addressed it right away with the professionalism expected as well as changed my room. Will I return or recommend Fairfield Inn? Yes because of it's staff, overall cleanliness and location. The ant incident may have been an isolated occurrence.

The only thing I was disappointed was the TV. It wasn't working properly and when I called the front office they didn't seem to care. I do give them the benefit of the doubt that they couldn't leave or send someone up.bc it was late at night when I called. Either than that everything went smoothly.

Property was good. No water most of our stay, no hot water for showers when we did have water, tv very few channels when Internet worked, no heated pool as the water heater didn't work either. The room was great and was the staff. There were no English speaking custodial staff either, Found out they don't even hire Caucasian people there for any position s. That in itself is upsetting.

Hotel’s internet was extremely slow. Tub had rust spots. Because we were unable to watch Thursday night football, a refund was issued and we moved to another hotel.

My room did not have water the first day so j could not take a shower..
