Best Western Jamaica Inn

When I arrived at the hotel my room smelled like cigarette smoke. The guy at the front desk called for housekeeping to fix the problem and whatever she sprayed caused my mother to have an asthma attack. When we turned on the air conditioner to air out the room IT WAS BROKE. We waited for the maintenance guy and he had to take the air conditioner out the wall to replace it. While we all was trying to catch our breath, I went back to the front desk to ask for a room change and he said he was booked but then he miraculously fought an extra room after I started to complain. Upon leaving the next day with all of my luggage, my husband returned to the room and told me that the elevator was BROKE and we were on the third floor, with my elderly mother, so we had to walk up and down with no assistance to check out with our luggage. The guy at the front desk tried to stay professional and said I hope you enjoyed your stay. I laughed and left.
