The Gardens Hotel

We will Definitely return if ever in Key West again.

There aren’t enough stars for The Gardens Hotel. The grounds are gorgeous, the rooms beautifully appointed. The staff top notch. It feels like coming home. Perfect location, close to everything but also an oasis away from everything.

Magical! The staff was amazing, friendly, and very accommodating. Breakfast was delicious. Loved the wine bar. The pool was clean. The room was clean. No complaints! Would definitely return.

We loved our stay in the gardens. We came come for our anniversary and it was absolutely perfect. From check in to check out we were treated so well. The hotels pool was clean, the hotel music and bar was wonderful. We loved the beautiful gardens surrounding the entire property. Breakfast was delicious offering a new option everyday (on tops of your standard eggs and potatoes) it was served fresh and all the choices were great. I have already recommended this place to multiple people. We will for sure be back!

We had a wonderful stay at the Gardens Hotel! It was very charming and a nice getaway for us. The peaceful setting of the gardens, tortoises, and waterfall fountains made it feel very serene. The morning breakfast and live music in the afternoons was great. If you wanted to go out and explore the town, Duval street was just a block away. The staff was incredible and we would like to give a big thank you to "Dr. Phil Good" for the incredible pina colada, strawberry daiquiri, and mango daiquiri. We also would like to give a shout out to Rhoda, George, and Annette for their excellent service. We will be back!

Roda was our first impression before even arriving to the property. She was spectacular from start to end! We were able to check in early, enjoy the pool with my mom and sister, and have the best experience at Gardens Hotel. Roda, Phil at the bar, and George at breakfast were all fabulous. Very kind, went out of the way, and very very welcoming. You feel at home. Before leaving breakfast, we made sure to have a future reservation set up! See you all at the end of Sept!

The room was great. Very comfy bed. Loved the private veranda & the gardens. The hotel is located a short walk from Duval St and lots Key West has to offer. The staff was friendly. Downside: housekeeping failed to clean my room 1 day during my stay despite my leaving the sign on my door requesting it. Breakfast was freshly made but hit or miss on quality. One morning delicious, the next not edible. The menu is the same each day except for 1 entree that changes, so not a lot of variety to choose from. My other complaint is that the hotel website says they now have Apple TV. This makes it sound like you can turn on the TV and start watching Apple TV shows. However, this is not the case. You have to have your own Apple TV subscription and then log in to watch. So why advertise you have apps? Very misleading. In fact, their whole tv setup is apps, which you have to have your own subscription to watch. Therefore, you can't watch anything at the hotel because they setup the tvs without anything free to watch for guests.

We enjoyed our stay at the Gardens hotel. Phil, the bartender, made the best rum punch.

Absolutely loved our recent stay at The Gardens Hotel over the 4th of July weekend! This place is truly a hidden gem in Key West. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with warmth and genuine hospitality—the staff went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. The hotel itself is gorgeous—lush, peaceful, and beautifully maintained. It's just a short walk to Duval Street, which makes it incredibly convenient, but far enough away that you feel like you’ve escaped into a quiet, tropical oasis. It was the perfect balance of lively Key West energy and serene relaxation. We looked forward to the delicious breakfast each morning, which was a wonderful way to start our days. Whether we were lounging by the pool, enjoying the gardens, or heading out to explore, everything felt easy and relaxed. Can’t recommend The Gardens Hotel enough—we’re already looking forward to coming back!
