Comfort Inn & Suites Statesboro - University Area

Staff was accommodating and tried their best to make us happy. Breakfast was refilled frequently. The bed was comfortable.

The whole hotel was moldy, from the entrance to the rooms. We switched from a 1st floor that we couldn't even breathe in to a 2nd floor that had mold on the curtains and walls. We didnt sleep well due to not being able to breathe. Unfortunately everything was sold out so we had to stay there. The outside is covered in black mold too. Ac units spread moldy air which made it worse.

The staff was very nice and welcoming

The only issues were the lights in the room. The light when you walked into the room was very dim and one of the lights in the bathroom flickered. Other than that the room as very spacious and lovely

Neat and clean room. Breakfast was fine.

The finishings were run down, rusty, or had dings in them. The bedside lamps were rimmed with rust. Outside trash was overflowing with garbage at a point of entry. The ceiling had obvious water damage—probably what caused the lamp rust, which was gross.

Bed was very comfortable.. easy access not over crowded. Great location

Tv didn’t work properly. The shower head adjuster wasn’t adjusting as it should.. I’m huge on breakfast. One of my main things that I look at when booking… breakfast was the same both days.. try changing what you serve. If we would’ve stayed multiple days I don’t think I would want the same thing every Morning.

Great place for the price

AC worked great, lady doing breakfast very rude, desk staff great at check in only, pool was closed unfortunately. I would highly reccomend some more breakfast options. One of the pillows on the bed was hard and lumpy, need to replace.

Everything was okay, breakfast adequate, location adequate but convenient to a lot of places I liked that a lot

I have stayed in Comfort Inns before, just thought all room had a semi suite look that give you space between beds and sitting area like a separate room

Breakfast was great.

Our room on the 1st Floor was for handicapped, which was great. The bed/mattress was the worst we have ever slept on. Hurt our backs as it was like sleeping on a board. The ceiling fan did not work and we talked to maintenance and he said he'd fix it. All he did was change a take a lightbulb from a night stand lamp and then that didn't work. He never did fix the fan itself. Y'all need to do a little better on maintenance and mattresses.

The WIFI would not connect. The TV control was very inadequate. There should be an instruction guide to how to operate it to be able to watch what was shown on the revolving channel options.
