Oranmore Lodge Hotel, Conference and Leisure Centre

Excellent staff, very accommodating and graceful under pressure. Can't speak highly enough of them. Especially the two evening bartenders. Beautiful hotel with very comfortable rooms. Food was good, leisure center excellent. Price was very reasonable considering the excellent experience.

All staff were very friendly & efficient. Hassle free check-in & out. Our room was on the second floor & it was very quiet throughout our two night stay. Bathroom was small & looks old but still adequate. (No toothpaste so take your own🙈) Free parking onsite which is always a bonus.

The bedroom there was a noise which sounded like a boiler o something similar that kept me awake. The bed and bedding were not comfortable- bed cover was like having a piece of foam over you. The bathroom had a hand wash dispenser and shower wash - no other bathroom products. No water in the room. The fridge was not working for the water we bought. We invited friends to meet us at 11am and were told there was no ability to have a coffee or anything until 1pm. Generally the experience was like a grand 2 hotel. I went to share feedback to manager when I was leaving and he was very rude and swore at me and told me I was insulting him. It was a really bad experience, I was shocked by the way I was spoken too. I’ve stayed there before and it had been really good.

For what you pay, you certwunly get your money worth. Great spacious room which is very clean with a powerful shower. Lovely comfortable beds too. We had a lovely breakfast both mornings which we could not fault (Irish beeakfast with baked beans). Very clean. hotel and very friendly staff, the sicillian staff member in the bar area, very nice and polite! and the leisure centre is brilliant, easy to use and navigate away round and extremely clean.

Lovely hotel but very disappointed with the food in the restaurant. It wasn't the best. We ate there the first night byt decided to eat elsewhere the second night. No bar food available which was disappointing. The day we were leaving we wanted to order a quick lunch and asked for toasted sandwiches at 12.30pm and we were told they couldn't provide. We were about to leave when a lovely lady working there said she would ask the kitchen. They sorted us out which was great but as I said something as simple as this should be available as bar food. We sat in the bar for 2 hours and we were the only people there on a Sunday at lunchtime...... Definitely a missed opportunity.

I enjoyed my 2 night stay here. The staff were friendly and helpful. Room was quite and the bed comfortable, couldn't ask for more. Great sauna in leisure centre. The dinners were excellent too. It's a short walk into Oranmore. Will come back.

We just had a lovely 2 days in The Oranmore Lodge Hotel it was gift from our daughter so we had never heard of this hotel. We were so delighted we went it was so laid back easy going but the staff were super efficient. Our room was spacious immaculate and lovely fluffy towels. From the front desk crew who checked us in, to the bar/dining room staff went that extra mile to make our stay so good. We had 2 evening meals and on both nights the food was delicious. Breakfast each morning we were greeted with a smile and nothing was a problem. We also visited the leisure centre on both days and again the staff were so good. Great hair dryers and straighners , sometimes hotels skimp on the quality but not here. Finally I think its the staff make a good hotel and The Oranmore Lodge have the best. Thank you

Lovely hotel well located in Oranmore short drive to Galway and bus access near hotel. We had dinner here both evenings and it was very nice - restaurant very quiet but the staff and food was excellent! Breakfast was wonderful with many choices for everyone including pancakes, full Irish, fresh fish. We had booked a suite but there was a wedding on the Saturday so we were offered room 211 which is there largest superior room and it was beautiful we got a discount and some chocolate and Prosecco in the room. Leisure club is good, gym quite small but does the job and the pool, sauna and steam room all brilliant - jacuzzi had a fault when we stay. Changing rooms could do with an update as lockers are hard open and some mold near the room. Lovely quiet bar for evening drinks we went to Galway for 1 of the nights and into a local pub in oranmore another night. Great value for money and brillant staff made for a wonderful bank holiday stay!

All staff were excellent at this property. It was super clean. Just one problem- the hairdryer was wires in so couldn’t be moved and the mirror was too far from it so it was difficult to blow dry your hair. Everything else great.
