Zimmer zu klein Restaurant nur bis 21.0 Uhr geöffnet

We really enjoyed our stay here. From the moment we arrived, the people were welcoming and genuinely friendly. The rooms are spacious and very comfortable, making it easy to relax. The restaurant was excellent, with plenty of traditional Bavarian meals and some fantastic steaks. Having Augustiner on tap was the perfect bonus. The location is hard to beat – right at the southern tip of Lake Starnberg and within easy reach of the German Alps. It’s a great base for exploring the area or simply enjoying the scenery. Breakfast was another highlight, and that’s saying something as I’m not usually a breakfast person!

I was a little disappointed when shown our room, and I did ask to move but advised the hotel was full. When I first booked, the hotel suggested I upgrade for a better room with balcony. Ok, so a small balcony was there, did I say small, plus we were in the attic with sloping ceilings that showed all the head impacts from previous occupants, now mine and my wife's are added for posterity. And it was a dark room. That said the owners daughter was very friendly and helpful, she and her grandpa helping to get the car charger working. Nice enough but...

Sehr ruhige Lage, obwohl gerade jetzt an einer Umleitungsstrecke gelegen, kein Straßenlärm. Fenster sehr gut isoliert. Das Zimmer sehr sauber und alles vorhanden. Das Personal sehr freundlich und bemüht alle Wünsche zu erfüllen. Wir haben uns sehr heimisch gefühlt. Das Frühstück reichhaltig und sehr gut. Auf Extrawünsche wurde reagiert und umgehend erfüllt. Die Speisen waren sehr gut. Wir werden auf alle Fälle wieder kommen.

Dem Schreibtisch würde eine Schublade gut tun, müsste nicht alles auf dem Schreibtisch rumliegen. Auch ein Schranksafe wäre nicht schlecht, dass ist jetzt aber Jammern auf hohen Niveau.

Sehr gute Küche: vielen Dank an die "Oma" Haben uns super wohl gefühlt, auch danke an die Jenny, sehr nette, lockere Bedienung - Top. Endlich mal richtig gute Betten 😀
