Best Western Plus Hotel La Marina

It is located at the edge of the marina, away from the central noisy part and at the steps of a scenic trail: beautiful.The outdoor looks like an old dorm, the lobby reminds the 70’s, but the corridors are very nice, modern armchairs around several tables, computer with printer; the rooms must have been updated recently and the feel is very nice: good size screen TV, minibar, kettle for tea, balcony with furniture; the hotel is very clean and offers water bottle to fill with sparkling water machine on the floor, billiard table, pool,gym, municipal parking in front usually 14 euros a night. Staff is polite and mostly have good English knowledge, front desk open 24hrs; breakfast buffet quite good. A pleasant experience, would recommend it and return

I stayed for two nights and had an overall great experience, thanks to the hotel's excellent amenities. However, I wish the pool had been heated. Additionally, it's better to call the hotel directly for special requests, as online requests are not always honored.

Lovely Hotel by the harbor of St. Raphael with top-view. Very good breakfast, good meal - choice, friendly service. The room is modern, comfortable and clean. Perfect location for any trips, calm, but close to the city-center. The staff is very friendly.

In my experience people make the difference in life but especially in hospitality, this could not be evident than our recent to trip staying at the Best Western Marina in St Raphael. After a journey that was uncannily close to the iconic film; planes, trains and automobiles we were warmly welcomed by the uber professional Marlena who made us feel instantly relaxed. Throughout our stay this continued from ensuring we were served at the bar (staff again excellent) to going above and beyond helping with our journey home. Note take the bus, it’s amazing especially if you have Disco Stu from the Simpsons as your driver. Fast, getting you dropped directly outside T2 and something like €13,80 in 1 hour 15 mins. A massive personal thank you, as without you my review would have been different. The basics. The Hotel itself is good, a low 4 star but more than adequate for the price charged. The rooms are modern, spotlessly clean albeit not huge but in fairness this was a budget friendly week away and we didn’t pay for an upgrade. I would say they are not quiet whether that be noise from the corridor, or from the maddest seagulls I have ever seen or heard in my life or Kevin le boy racer who seemed to like using the road outside as a drag strip in the early hours. I can’t really comment on the food as only had an express breakfast which was great for an early flight. The pool area is small but as we went off season, loads of loungers and a real sun trap out of the wind. My only word of warning is the blooming seagulls that decided to circle above for a bombing run a couple of times a day. They are clearly well drilled… The location is a brisk 30 min walk outside the lovely centre of St Raphael which was fine with us as but would say if you were less mobile could be a factor to consider. Personally we liked it as largely by the sea, through a couple of nice parks, onto the promenade and the walk meant we could eat and drink guilt free! The Hotel sits on the lovely harbour in the San Lucia district. Which has 20 or so restaurants and something for everyone and pretty much guaranteed a good meal if you don’t fancy a walk. I would suggest consider booking beforehand in the summer looking at the number of empty apartments and unoccupied boats and how busy it was off season. Overall I would consider staying again mainly down to the staff and also as St Raphael, along with the whole coast is amazing and somewhere I want to spend more time exploring and enjoying.

hôtel très bien situé personnel attentif et très agréable petit déjeuner copieux l'ensemble est vraiment très bien une mention très spéciale pour Florence, spécialiste des massages et modelages : elle se rend disponible, ne compte pas son temps et fait le maximum pour répondre à nos attentes

Tout parfait sauf que je n’ai pas du tout aimé le sur matelas qui m’a donne l’impression de m’enfoncer mais c’est tout à fait perso
