Best Western Plus Hotel La Marina

Spent a long weekend here as was visiting for a wedding,nice for a long weekend break away,clean and fairly central to St Raphael,Frejus

Ideally situated hotel for visit to St Raphael. Some good restaurants very close by. Only criticism was some of the staff could have been a bit more friendly

Very nice stay, good location, quiet area, free parking.

Good location just on outskirts of the town. Recommend private balcony over the marina . Bar and restaurant bit over priced compared to the local bars, gym not welcoming it was just for the locals. Recommend lots of mosquito repellent as they are a problem

We spent one night in Best Western in St Raphael. It is a pleasant but somewhat dated hotel. The dinner and breakfast were good.

We stayed at La Marina for 1 week in early Sept. The hotel is located appox 20 mins walk from the main beaches and 30 mins from the centre of town (a further 15-20 mins takes you into Frejus). There are bars, restaurants and a decent Spar supermarket a couple of mins from the hotel. The gym is larger than usual for a hotel. The pool area was clean and quiet, although the sunbeds were not too comfortable (same style as on the beach, but the beach ones have a nice thick cushion.....although on the beach 2 beds and a parasol cost €35!). The room and bathroom were not large but perfectly adequate and the bed was very comfortable. The aircon was good and the room was quiet at night. Hotel breakfast cost €16 each, but there are several other options for breakfast nearby. We only ate in the restaurant once and it was crowded (we were booked in for 20.00 but then asked to wait in bar for 15 mins) and understaffed and the food was average. To be fair, we ate there due to heavy rain outside so this may have been why it was so full. Service at the bar was also generally slow. . Overall, the hotel was very pleasant and a good place to stay if you want to be slightly out of town but right next to sea (marina).

Very nice hotel with great pool. Clean rooms and very good amenities. I was positively surprised also regarding the fair price of the room. Would definitely visit again

Lovely modern hotel ,smaller than expected but all staff extremely friendly in every area of hotel .Decor and rooms always immaculate. Desk staff and management very informative of local area .Nothing too much trouble to them. It's best selling point for us was that within less than five minutes stroll there was a lovely little promenade around a Marina lined with an impressive selection of lovely restaurants.Most had daily specials to suit all tastes. Our favourites being the fish and sea food restaurants. Also little breakfast cafes had choices from €3 to €5 which were excellent value .Wonderful fruit stalls and fresh paella,bouillabaisse being bought by locals. Fifteen minute walk to beautiful St. Raphael .Lots more hotels and restaurants but honestly not as good as at the Marina.

This hotel is great. Lovely room with balcony, tea making facilities, air con that works and lovely comfortable bed. The bathroom is fresh and clean. Lovely swimming pool and sun loungers with umbrellas. The pool bar is great and offers cocktails, drinks and good food. The staff are attentive and friendly. Car parking underground for a small fee, or public parking right outside. The location is great, right by the harbour, with lots of lovely bars and restaurants within a 2 minute stroll. It really doesn't get any better.
