Regal Palms Resort and Spa

This was the 2nd time we’ve stayed at Regal Palms and will definitely be back again.

House could be alittle more cleaner even shower bathroom era etc.

Upon arrival we entered and settled open the cabinet and giant flying roaches and went to the outside porch which wasn't covered it was full of flies and the racoons come all the way up to you and try to get into your villa if your not quick. Other than that the stay was pleasant

The house was huge. The beds were comfortable. The dishes were clean. Everything, minus water line to the fridge, was in working order. It was a perfect central spot to everything we had planned. Some staff were alright, but front desk staff were exceptional. Pool areas were clean, plenty of seating and it never felt crowded.

Some pool staff was rather unhelpful, but this was made up with excellent front desk staff.

AC wasn't working and lacked any help with fixing. We love Regal Palms and try to stay here when we are visiting Florida. The staff is very nice, the pools are great. The lazy river got a bit rowdy on the weekends this time (teenagers).. Our reservation was subbed out to United Vacation rentals and our AC was not working later in the evening on our first night. They sent out a technician the next day who had us run the fan vs the AC. Thank god we spent days at the theme parks because it fealt muggy in our condo during the day. The evenings were tolerable. No one fixed the AC or rectified the issue our whole stay! There should have been some compensation for this issue. Makes us worry about booking again through Expedia and at the Regal Palms next vacation : (

Beautiful grounds and great value for money! I do have some critiques: there was an offensive odor in the villa the moment we walked in. I would compare it to a strong moldy damp rug scent. After two days of air fresheners and AC is simmered. The kitchen faucet had a nonstop leak after shutting off, the hot water on the ground floor was much hotter compared to upper floor where it felt just like warm in showers. The jacuzzi jets in the upstairs room needed a deep cleaning, old chewing gum stuck under nightstand top (I glimpsed it while in bed staring at the corner), sofas downstairs needed a good cleaning from obvious grime or dirt. Otherwise the stay was relaxing. Loved the large villa and the pool although small considering the large property, it wasn’t overcrowded during the week of our stay July 7th. Wish they had vending machines on property for water and snacks. But the nearby Publix was perfect.

This was my second stay, good thing i didnt stay in this unit the first time or i wouldnt have been back. The staff was great, but the people that manage the room we had, not very good at all. Our cable even went out due to lack of payment.( atleast thats what the cable people said, now the management company said it was on the cable side, but everyone eles around me still had theres)

Property unit 3744 Calabria was outdated, sink faucet would not closed . 1st floor shower did not properly work so my Brother had to use a cup every time he’ll shower. Amenities looks so old and ugly. You could not bring anything to eat to the pool area. Was raining most of the time so pool was not available. Nothings else to do since volleyball court is not available . Indoor jacuzzi was poorly maintain , and no kids were allow; therefore no options. Only good thing about this mini vacation was that the family was together and we made it work for us.

Had a great week here! The only thing was ants in the kitchen and a coral snake in the front door. Other than that the property is clean, there are many things for kids. It very spacious for big families.
