Comfy bed, good black out curtains

Air conditioning wasn’t working so in spite of setting it to 16 when we went out to dinner, it was still 25 degrees when we returned, which it remained all night in spite of leaving it on (loud). A 25% refund was given but I still would have preferred to actually sleep! Got less than 2 hours and felt dreadful the next day. Surely a hotel’s primary concern should be a good nights sleep.

There was noise coming from maybe the heating unit throughout the night so led to interrupted sleep

Room AC was broken and room was 24 deg, offered a small fan - 7 floor so couldn't open the window.

There are no windows to open but worse still is that the air con didn’t work . Our room was 25degrees . We advised reception that the air con wasn’t working and they advised us that it would be done by the time we returned from dinner . On return to the hotel the room was still 25 degrees , stuffy and hot. There was nothing they could do because the hotel was full . Turned out many rooms were affected and many unhappy guests . We hardly slept and it ruined the next day of exploring Liverpool . They did change our room for the second night but it wasn’t that much better . Clearly the air conditioning system needs some serious attention .
