Hyatt House Parsippany East

The reception staff was very nice, the room very nicely laid out and comfortable, and clean.

Room was what we expect from Hyatt House. Loved the convenience store by the reception as the prices were very reasonable especially checking in late. The breakfast was one of the best i've had compared to similar category brannds like Hampton, homewood or even embassy suites. The offering was much more and tasted great.

Can’t say a single bad word

I stayed in April for work and I’ve stayed a few times over the years. It’s consistently a great place to stay - comfy beds, clean and tidy, lovely staff, rooms well equipped etc. It’s about an hour taxi into manhattan so probably too far if you plan to go there but doable, and you’ve other things locally like Morristown and Parsippany.

Convenient location. Exterior and lobby are very nice. Close to a nice pond with a walking path. Friendly front desk staff.

The room was dark and in need of some repairs - especially in the bathroom. Leak behind tub faucet was like a waterfall when the shower was on. Tub very slow to drain. Parking was an additional cost. Pet fee of $100 was quite steep for a one night stay with one dog.

Hotel was nice and clean, rooms are spacious, and close to a few places nearby for food. My main gripe is with the parking policy, where the hotel outsources parking to a separate management company that you pay through a QR code. Basically, the hotel doesn't deal with managing parking at their own property, which means they're no help when there are questions. And even if the parking lot is nearly empty during the off-season, there's still a presumption you have to pay for parking. It's truly stupid.
