Desk clerk not very welcoming. No smile

On a business trip and I was put up here. I'll start with the good. TV reception was good as was the wifi. A/C worked just fine That's it. On arrival, they had no reservation for me even though I had a confirmation. I ended up paying for the room even though I showed the room had been paid for. Parking was a bit tricky as there was a soccer game going on in the parking lot! The room was not clean. I wore sox since the carpet did not feel clean. No clock, no coffee maker, walls had no decorations. Bed was OK and only soft pillows. All doors open on to the parking lot and I was on the first floor, so there was a bit more noise and some people were leaving their doors wide open. No elevator. See pixs for more of the room. Found trash on the floor among other places. And the breakfast? I got there at 7:05 (opened at 7) and I found 3 bagels, maybe a dozen slices of toast, cold cereal and yogurt, and coffee machine that made mostly acceptable coffee. and at checkout at around 7:30, no one came to the front desk even after i pushed the call bell a couple of times. So here you are. Maybe it was just my room. Maybe not. This place needs a lot of work.Inexpensive, though.
