SpringHill Suites by Marriott Portland Hillsboro

There was a $12 fee charged to my cc for parking in the hotel parking lot. At no time was I made aware of this charge, or asked if I authorized a charge to my cc for this purpose. At check in I was asked for a cc for incidental or miscellaneous charges, but was not told specifically that there was a charge to park in the hotel parking lot. Won't stay there again because of that.

We were there for two nights and no one ever came to clean the room or make the bed. Otherwise, the rooms were fine and location was good (lots of shopping/restaurants nearby), just lacked in attention to detail

The pool, the hot tub and the nice option of breakfast

Friendly staff and clean rooms. Even though it was for just a day, I think it was a great place for the right price

Location was great. Indoor pool was nice.

Lack of front desk service, Room was unclean, unknown smears on walls, carpet stains, trash wrappers stuffed in sofa bed, half the lights in our room didnt work. Breakfast was gone less than an hour after opening.

Loud/ rattling fan in bathroom and noisy location...can hear traffic from road. Additionally, stay was negatively impacted by patrons that don't seem to understand how to behave on upper floors [kids yelling, stomping, running, slamming doors, etc]. Staff needs to do a better job of informing patrons with kids of behavioral requirements.
