Pros: location Nice kitchen The apartment is in a good condition Cons: Pool is too small for family Bed is too soft Carpet is dirty. House keeping isn't good, can be improved.

Excellent position close to the centre and an easy walk to the Treaty Grounds. We would have preferred first floor accommodation with a balcony rather than a ground floor with no sea view

A great a place to stay on the way to Cape Reinga.

Despite the fact we chose a very summers weekend to stay here, but at almost $400 a night at a 5 star place, I was expecting more. The property was very dated, old in the the unit we were in, The bathroom was in bad condition the shower always overflowing into the bathroom area. It was supposed to be a 1 bedroom unit but it was a Studio with a large sliding door to close off the lounge. If you closed it, it had bad air flow, if you left it open the light from the frosted window with no curtains kept you up. The milk didnt get replenished after house keeping had been gone and the bed making skills could be better. Only one Mirror in the bathroom and not others in the room. Lighting was Poor. The people in the above apartments were noisy and partied all night, we woke up to cigarette butts in our outdoor seating area. The TV in the bedroom only offered Freeview Channels which was disappointing for a place that suggests its 5 stars?!! It is in need for an upgrade. I booked this place as I wanted to stay someone plush with plush amenities and thats what you would hope when you book a 5 start place.

Great proximity. Room was clean enough but for that premium position, could havebeen better. Very bad smell coming from the kitchen sink/ waste disposal unit.

Excellent location, just across the road from the Bay front and close to the jetty and town centre shops and restaurants. A short flight of stairs down to pavement level. Lovely patio table and chairs to enjoy the setting. Well equipped studios. What's not to love?
