Quality Inn near Hearst Castle

Great breakfast, staff friendly, like the cookies and coffee, spa was broken but it was fix while we were in it thats quick service and we appreciate that. Our room 108 is close to the pool and spa as well as coffee and cookies as well as the breakfast area.

Nothing

It was neat and clean. The fire pit by the jacuzzi and pool was a nice feature. The breakfast was awesome. The staff was exceptional!

The only problem was the internet. It was horrible. It didn’t work half the time and it constantly kicked you off when it did.

Our room had a separate sitting room. Fire by the pool. Fantastic breakfast!!!

Bed wasn’t level

Ed was an amazing host (he even remembered our names!). The place itself may be a bit old, but everything is neat, tidy, and clean. The small touches that Ed has added give this place my rating. Ed goes above and beyond to make the place feel homey. Coffee, Tea, and hot chocolate are available at all times, along with freshly-baked cookies. The breakfast is better than one could imagine, with Ed and the staff making sure that nothing (even the coffee) ever runs out. The rooms are spacious, the WiFi is reliable, there is a cute little pool, a fire pit, and a very nice restaurant attached to the hotel. The location couldn't be better, very close to the beach, the elephant seals, and Hearst Castle. All in all, it's a great value.

The staff was excellent--great hospitality.
