Studio 6 Extended Stay - Pascagoula, MS

The room had bugs, a foul odor and the microwave was dirty.

Location and the staff

Not enough food places walking distance

Location was convenient for a quick overnight off I10 with a pet. There was a Waffle House (basically in the parking lot) & a Canes and a Walmart within a short walking distance. Parking lot was very well lit at night. Great TV. The front desk staff were very friendly.

Our room was not clean (at least not what I consider clean), especially the floor. There was also a "smell". You could tell it had been used as a pet room. The small kitchenette in the room could use a lot of help from a handyman (paint, hinges on cabinets, caulking & a good scrub). The mattress was tired but linens were clean and fresh. Since we travel with a pet I always travel with cleaning supplies so a quick clean up made it fine for the night.

The staff was friendly.

Rooms stunk bad. Mold, mildew, rank fridge smell. Dirt floors. Hair all over the bathroom floor Shower curtain rod hanging on by 2 screws 2 dead bolt locks loose barely hanging on. Kitchen burner didn’t work half the time Lot of homeless/extra activities going on outside my room at night

I didn't even get to stay. There was no one at the front desk to check me in. I waited for 2 hours, and no one showed up. And that includes me ringing the service bill every 2 minutes. No one still showed up. I had to make arrangements at another hotel.
