Beautiful spacious room with balcony overlooking a pretty and, during our stay, quiet square only a few minutes walk from the waterfront. Excellent communication with the host. Good WiFi and air-conditioning. Comfortable bed.

For those that like to wake up with a coffee, rather than tea, provision of a coffee machine would be great.

We were traveling from Rome to catch the ferry in Brindisi and stopped in Trani for a few nights. Unfortunately, the stay was disappointing. First, I was charged €20 per day for my medium-sized collie, totaling €60 for 3 nights—even though we didn’t stay the last night. This charge wasn’t disclosed before booking, which felt very unfair. Typically, the fee is €20 per stay, not per day (even in Radisson hotels). If we had booked for a week, we would’ve ended up paying €100 just for the dog. Knowing this in advance would have led us to consider other hotel options at that price. To make matters worse, no pet amenities like a dog carpet or bowl were provided, despite the high fee. Additionally, the breakfast was a joke. A tiny coffee and a croissant do not qualify as breakfast. A proper breakfast should at least include healthy options like fresh fruits and vegetables, yogurt and eggs.

Parking in this area is extremely difficult. I was very lucky to find a spot nearby, but there was no help from the owner, who seemed to have more important things to do. Furthermore, I was requested in an unpleasant manner to submit my ID, as if I had come there to commit a crime. Booking already has my documents and will disclose them to the owner if necessary, so this request felt unnecessary and intrusive. To top it off, there was an ashtray left on the balcony’s plant pot with cigarette butts (I don't smoke), which turned into a disgusting mess after the rain. I also didn’t enjoy sleeping on the bed placed directly below the stairs, which felt very unsafe. Dear owner, please indicate on Booking what your daily fee for pets is and specify what kinds of pets you accept to avoid misleading guests. Overall, the experience was unsatisfactory, especially for pet owners and those expecting a clean environment, a safe sleeping area, and a decent meal to start the day if you’re advertising as a B&B.

Steep stairs to units

Carmela was very helpful with the parking. We booked two rooms which were very clean and well presented. The breakfast was by token to use at external place. The tokens allowed for a coffee and pastry which were very good. Just note like most properties in Italy both rooms were accessed by stairs.
