Diablo Mountain Inn Walnut Creek

The front desk person was wonderful. So warm and welcoming - and informative. I also needed early check in and that was easily accommodated Also the picture of the old motel was rad.

The whole “use these towels for this and those towels for that”. Like don’t make me think on vacation about what towel I’m using to wipe off my makeup after a night on the town. Profoundly annoying.

This is our favorite hotel in Walnut Creek. Great price, clean rooms, excellent staff.

We request a top floor or single floor room as the rooms under the second floor can be nosier ( based on our experience - could have just been a loud guest upstairs.)

Freeway accessible, walk to bagels, close to Philz coffee

Chance and the whole staff are just so danged nice and accommodating. This was our fourth stay, and it looks like the rooms have had some upgrades. The shower was amazing. Super water pressure, squeaky clean. We have friends in Walnut Creek. We can’t imagine staying anywhere else.

I like the spaciousness/layout of the room and the massaging shower head.

We were on the first floor and we could hear a lot of noise from the neighbors above us who were awake very early.

The noise is not a problem if you have earplugs. Staff are lovely and it us exceptionally clean.

Bed too hard, but would be great with a topper.
