"Aggressive Sales Tactics and not Honest"

I would have given this a higher review but I have to share my experience with concierge. I am a Wyndham Club Owner and was traveling without my husband. It was a girls only weekend getaway to celebrate my daughter’s 5th birthday. Upon check in I was informed by concierge that my account was flagged and I had to go to a meeting. (A sales meeting) I informed the representative that I wasn’t interested as my account was current and my husband and I had just gone to a sales meeting while on our vacation in June at a different Resort. The representative made it seem like it was mandatory even after I informed him that my husband wasn’t traveling with me and those meetings required both owners to be present and he said that I should just simply set my watch to 60 minutes and at the 60 minute window tell them I was done. I felt as if I had no choice but to agree and gave my credit card to “hold” such meeting. After I got settled into our room, I called my husband and explained what happened, he called customer support and was told that we were not forced to attend any meetings, as there was nothing wrong with our account and the resort was just trying to make sales. After I learned this I decided to go back and cancel the meeting, the concierge representative then came out upset and not friendly at all and told me that he never said it was mandatory that he was just offering it for me to get a free gift card, to which I then said that given that it was not mandatory I wasn’t interested and I wished to cancel. He replied by saying that he would let his manager know and that the appointment would be cancelled. I waited for the hold on my credit card to fall off, but it never did, it actually posted. I have tried calling back several times and I’m always told that the person who handles that “just stepped out but they will call you back”. No one has called back. I have submitted a dispute to my credit card. As a Wyndham club owner I will never make another reservation at this particular location. This is not how you treat your guests!!!

Everything! It was an easy check-in, no wait time. My room was exceptionally clean and beautiful! The curb appeal of the property was amazing!

The people above me I believe had kids and they were loud walking around. There was an odor when I first walked in, like a wet dog odor. I sprayed Febreze and Lysol in the room to overcome the smell.

Be prepared to get strong-armed into a 90 minute tour of the facility and the salesmen to not listen to you when you aren't interested. I ended up scheduling a tour just to get out of the lobby at check-in because we had dinner reservations. When we reached out to cancel the next day, the salesman tried to advance our checkout by 2 hours saying we had to be out of our space my 8AM since we weren't going on the tour. The front desk was lovely in letting us know that wasn't the case, but the sales team is relentless, we will not stay here again.

"Wonderfull stay."

Our third stay at this resort and always very satisfied. Units very confortable, well equipped, well decorated, in a charming colonial surronding. The only negative tip, the invitation to assist at the Club Wyndham Club presentation to be able to get our room keys, they are very insisting.
