Galveston Beach Hotel

The staff at the counter were kind, informative, and helpful.

Even with the "do not disturb" sign on the door. Every single morning we had a stranger barge into our room! The do not disturb sign exists for a reason!!! I felt as though I had absolutely no privacy. If they can't respect the "do not disturb" sign on the door and just match right in, how can I feel safe showering or sleeping or anything else for that matter???

It’s under renovation now but it looks run down inside in my opinion

The things I liked about the property it was close to the beach the pool and the Jacuzzi were clean The staff was nice.

The property was a little bit old the breakfast wasn’t that good

The rooms were clean,the breakfast was good, easy access to the beach and the housekeeping were really nice

Thought I'd book for a balcony when I got there they told me I didn't and wanted to charge me over $100 extra for a balcony plus the beds were hard the pillows were only half size the last time we stayed we had big fluffy pillows this time we had little bitty pillows and the front desk help we're not nice

Hair was not cleaned out from previous guests I had to clean the shower Tacky room The room balcony door did not stay shut

Location and plenty of parking

Non working elevator and lots of trash on floors
