Errante Ecolodge

The breakfast was a nice spread full of pastries, bread, jam, meats, fruit, and cheeses. There was hot coffee and tea available. The eating space and rooms have a great view of the Beagle Channel and the mountains in Argentina, and we saw cows, geese, and wild horses from our window. The food for lunch and dinner was absolutely stellar and created by a chef. It is a Prix Fixe menu and everything we received was amazing. We arranged transportation to and from the airport and everything went smoothly, including registering with the Police for our trek and stopping at the market. The location was perfect for our Dientes de Navarino trek and the horseback riding nearby was a great time, arranged by Errante. We were only there two nights, but if felt like a long time, in the best way possible. The staff was great, the view was beautiful, and we got great sleep. I highly recommend this property. Don't forget to say hello to Benito, a dog on the property that is impossible not to be charmed by.

What was not to like? An eco lodge on the edge of the Beagle Channel where you wake up to the most beautiful view in the world. A place where the chef produces mouth watering food. Then the outing on their vessel to go whale watching, almost touch a glacier, followed by a genuine BBQ at an estancia by the water’s edge. We walked a beach almost untouched by plastic pollution and we all found ourselves marvelling at how privileged we were to be sharing Jorg and Constanza’s dream of a holiday so close to nature and yet so very comfortable

Very friendly, open and helpful owners Jorge and Constanza. And lovely pets Benito and Tomaso. The breakfast is rich and the beef and the salmon were delicious - fantastic dinner. The view from the dining hall is amazing. The hot tub is excellent after a long trekking. Perfect place for relaxing. This is the real end of the world (not Ushuaia 😊)!

Had a lovely stay at Errante, the bed was comfy, the views beautiful and the food amazing - their vegetarian option was very tasty, especially the eggplant. The vibe of the place is cozy, the staff kind and the owners Constanza and Jorge made us feel like friends through their hospitality and good conversations

Amazing stay in a beautiful quiet place, with exceptional good food

The hotel is well located to ensure the tourist a privileged view of the Beagle Channel and its infrastructure is inserted in the heart of an unparalleled environment. The hotel staff are young, enterprising and very warm people, with a great willingness and excellent disposition to assist the guests. The hotel team itself offers varied programmes of activities to be carried out in the surroundings and which are suitable for different types of guests (children, seniors, young people, athletes, etc.), such as mountain biking, kayaking, hiking in the mountains, exploration of various locations. The hotel has little or no telephone coverage, but has WIFI which works quite well. It is a recommended hotel for exploring one of the southernmost and most beautiful areas of the planet.

The room had a beautiful view, but it was quite cold when I arrived. The heating system used did not help me much and I was cold during the night.

Honestly a pice of magic - Jorge and Constanza are delightful and the place is beautiful, way more than 3 star as it’s rated. go there !!!

Nothing - bed linen perfect food amazing in a land where good food is hard to find - just superb

Location was out of town several km. Lodge was perched on a hill overlooking the Beagle Channel. Great views. Proprietor, Jorge, is extremely energetic. Made us feel comfortable, accommodated my vegan diet. He also arranged a fantastic excursion to the Italian glacier, Followed by a Chilean style lamb BBQ at an island ranch on the way back (I ate the salad, potatoes, and sauces). He also arranged kayaking and hiking for other guests. Food and service in the restaurant were exceptional.

No glaring problems. There was some on going construction (not active while we were there). Lots of construction debris to the side of the driveway on the way in. While this didn't detract from the views from the lodge it made an initial negative impression as we arrived.
