Hotel Glinde

Breakfast extremely limited, and space to sit was even smaller with people waiting just to get past each other.

There was no lift and despite request based on walking difficulties, we were given room on the 2nd floor. Which was changed to 1st floor on 2nd day. The facility is essentially a 2 start accommodation

Het was heel school mooie kamers en een goed personeel het was goed.

Het is niet dat het tegen viel maar het is een beetje afgelegen klein beetje maar wel ok schoon hotel

Die Lage des Hotels war sehr ruhig, nicht unweit entfernt gab es mehrere Supermärkte um Kleinigkeiten einzukaufen. Nur 7 min. Gehweg entfernt befand sich eine Bushaltestelle mit der man problemlos nach Hamburg gelangen konnte. Das Personal des Hotels war überaus freundlich und zuvorkommend.

Unser Hotelzimmer war sauber, jedoch an manchen Stellen nicht richtig vom Staub befreit (gerade Ablageflächen die nicht direkt im Sichtfeld waren). Zudem zeigten die Silikonfugen der Dusche schon leicht schwarze Verfärbungen und die Lüftung des Bades war zu schwach, um die feuchte Luft ordentlich absaugen zu können.

The hotel was very clean. Room comfortable, nice hot shower. There was a bottle of water in the room with a couple of tumblers. Breakfast was the best we have had in hotels. Nicely set out; warm rolls, meats and cheeses, various accompaniments. There was a fruit tea available as well as green tea and coffee. Staff were very nice and polite.

Not sure about having to use a keypad to access the hotel and having to find our room, although an email gave all the information needed. Because it was Ascension Day when we arrived there was nobody on reception. The location was OK but maybe not the best for a single female traveller.
