Hilton Garden Inn Indianapolis/Carmel

I stayed at the Hilton Garden Inn in Carmel, Indiana, and I have to say that my experience was very disappointing due to how I was treated by the Assistant General Manager. I’ve stayed at many Hilton properties and have always appreciated their professionalism, but this visit left me frustrated and upset. The AGM was extremely disrespectful and made me feel as if I wasn’t worth their time or attention. Instead of helping resolve my concern, their attitude only made things worse. What’s even more frustrating is that the front desk staff—who shouldn’t have had to step in—were far more kind, patient, and helpful than the manager in charge. No guest should ever be made to feel dismissed or unimportant, especially at a Hilton brand hotel. I truly hope upper management takes this feedback seriously and ensures that all guests are treated with the respect and care they deserve.

Everything was great except we couldn't get the coffee maker in the room to work. The room was very clean and comfortable. Very quiet.

I tried calling booking.com. This property has been under renovation since February. The rooms on the floor we stayed on had already been renovated. The lobby was a mess with tarps all over the furniture. We had to go sit outside to eat our lunch on outside chairs that didn't have properly fitting cushions. The elevator was covered in smelly cardboard to protect it. Painting was done in the lobby when we walked in work storage containers all over the parking lot the fitness center and pool were shut down. You should not list this property on booking.com until they have completed renovation. It was ridiculous. Very frustrating. Our room was fine but we did not enjoy the property Was definitely not worth $350 to stay in that type of hotel

Very nice, clean hotel in a great location.

When I initially booked this room about two months ago, there was nothing mentioned in the Hilton app about the pool, hot tub, or gym being completely closed for renovation. Upon my check in (after a long car ride), I was informed that the pool and gym are closed. I had no choice but to check in because the hotel was sold out and I wasn’t about to rebook two hotel rooms at the last minute. Our room was facing the main road (31 I believe) and all I heard most of the night was sirens. My other family had a room facing Pennsylvania road and didn’t hear the sirens. I checked on the app again today and found that now it’s clearly marked that they are undergoing renovations. I wish this was done prior as I was truly looking forward to relaxing in the hot tub and pool.

The property is undergoing renovations and the dining room was not as expansive as it will be in the future. Even though there is a Lot of construction going on, they kept the noise down. The beds are very comfortable. The microwave was too high for me to use. It could have been on a lower shelf. All staff are so nice and helpful. The receptionists and wait staff in the dining area couldn’t have been nicer or more helpful.
