Radisson Blu Ankara

The breakfast was very good! One of the best we had in Türkiye.

I booked the place because Is one of the few hotels with gyms around. But the gym was very deficient. Most machines didn’t work. It was good enough to do a little but not what I needed.

Frühstück und Reception waren gut. Gratis Wasser und Kaffee wird geschätzt.

Die Balkontüre zum Balkon ist undicht. Oben schliesst das Fenster nicht, so dass der grosse Strassenlärm im Zimmer gut hörbar ist. Zimmer 604.

Overall, the hotel has a good location and decent service, but the additional fees, aging facilities, and weak gym experience make it feel below the level expected from a Radisson Blu brand. . The main issue was that many services came with extra charges, which was not clearly communicated at first and made the experience feel less welcoming. However, I must mention that the staff were generally helpful and polite, and we were given a room upgrade, which was appreciated and improved part of the stay.

The gym was below expectations, with outdated and limited equipment that did not match the hotel’s standard or the photos shown online. The bathroom also felt old and not well maintained, which affected the overall comfort of the room.

The location was quite convenient. Everything was good in general, with some exceptions.

There was a hint of tobacco smell in the hallway. Some things could use a bit of maintenance, like the shower door, which was leaking. Breakfast was good, but considering the standards of the hotel, it could have had a few more options.
