Gongis Studios

Although host-Spiros is very kind and willing to help, I must say my impression about the place. We had two studios, both of them were clean upon arrival but one big complain goes to cleaning later on. Actually, there is no cleaning, only taking a trash daily and nothing else. No cleaning, no towels and sheets changing in 8 days of our staying! It never happened anywhere else before. Surrounding is very rural and beach very far. Sea is maybe close but beach is not. Garden, hammock and tree houses could be cleaner and tidier.Rooms are very modest and furniture very old. Bathroom, like in most of Greek places, small with curtain in shower place. Bring your own toilet paper as you get only one roll on arrival and that's it, hand soap not even one. Balcony were nice. Even it's upon owner if they will take all the money from the card before arrival ( Booking) as its was not non refundable option , I must say that this place takes it all. We were in 3 more places in Ionian islands after it and nobody else did it prior to our arrival.

Very nice garden, prefect for families :)

Gongis studios is set in a good central location, quiet, a short walk from beaches and shopping and beautiful countryside with some quiet walking trails to nearby villages, etc. The accomodation has no pool but has two tree houses and well maintained gardens to relax in. The studios are capable of sleeping three people to adequate space for two. Kettle and oven hob are provided so basic self-catering is possible. The resort has an abundance of good restaurants and bars to choose from. We are repeat visitors and will return again.

Good place to stay, located near the beach, grocery shops and local bars (about 10min on foot). Very polite and nice owner. Great yard with numerous places to have calm and quiet rest. Tree houses are amazing! Good WiFi, the room was clean and comfy. And if you get a room on the second floor you’ll have a great sea view.

We rented this property for 17 nights and only have our sheets and towels changed once, so it would be nice to had a room service more often. Also there wasn’t any washing machine for a laundry. And take to account that this place is located quite far away from the center of the island, and buses is a real struggle on Corfu, so you’ll probably need to rent a car.

Gongis Studios has a central position in the Agios Georgios town and it is close to nice, golden sandy beaches (our favorite was the one beyond the Malibu Taverna - easily reachable from the property following a 15-min walk). The property has a really well-cured yard with hammocks and tree-houses and I'd define it as a perfect place where you will be surrounded by an absolutely chill and relaxing atmosphere. Spyros, I believe the happiest person on the Corfu island:), will welcome you in his kind and friendly approach and will definitely spread positive vibes around:) We rested, relaxed and enjoyed our stay to the fullest in Gongis Studios and are looking forward to coming back soon. The location of the studio is central and close to the beach, but still very calm and green. The next supermarket is a 5 minutes walk away. There are tree houses and hangmats in the garden, as well as wonderful plants and two funny ducks. The host is very welcoming, friendly and helpful. We had a great time, thank you!
