Dooleys Hotel Waterford City

This hotel was in a great location to all of the Waterford sights. It was really close to the train station as well. The rooms were large and clean.

Somethings in the room might use a little updating, but overall we really enjoyed our stay.

Central location and convenient parking across the street. We received a warm welcome and a lovely breakfast was included each morning. A central location to many of the city's attractions.

First off - the hotel doesn’t have its own parking, but I believe the description on Expedia claims it has parking. Second - the room I was given was the most uncomfortable night in Ireland for me. It was a back corner room above a loud bar where loud stereo music played till past midnight. Room was humid and stuffy so I had to leave a window open. Mind you, this was the most expensive of my hotels in Ireland. To make matters worse, I was greeted by a yellow rag sitting in the trash bin as soon as I entered the room, and the hand towel in the bathroom had hair on it. Needless to say, I never got to relax here. The staff seems clueless.

Really pleasant staff, on reception and in restaurant. We ate in the restaurant on the night of our trip and the food was lovely. Only down to the stay was that the place was a little dated, otherwise a pleasant stay.

Very professional and welcoming staff. Quiet. Cozy.
