Richland Inn of Columbia

Quiet. Loved the breakfast.

There are many good places to stay in Columbia. Our group, of fifteen or more, stays at the Richland Inn twice a year for the past twenty plus years. Most of us stay on average of five plus days. The reason we stay there is because of Miss Rachael. Miss Rachael knows most of our group by name and takes an interest in us. Over the past few years Richland Inn has had a few management, or owner changes. During that time some of the employees that we knew have moved on. Miss Rachael has stayed with the Richland Inn. We do miss some of the other staff members that have left and like to see them return. We, as a group, have said that the Richland Inn would not be the same without Miss Rachael. She is the ‘glue’ that holds that place together. We look forward each time we stay at Richland Inn to seeing Miss Rachael. We sincerely hope that she remains at the Richland Inn. She is a valuable asset to the Richland Inn.

Very easy to find and close to everything we needed

The bathroom was outdated and the plumbing could use and upgrade

Well, to be honest, the hotel was pretty sketchy. And obviously note: with the outdoor doors, it’s a motel, not a hotel. My room wasn’t very clean, but I didn’t complain because I was only there a few hours, hence why I purposely stayed in as inexpensive place as I could. But you get what you pay for. It was also noisy with guests and their young kids playing some sort of violent video game at 11pm a few doors down. Finally, which irked me…while, yes, it’s a pet-friendly hotel, there’s no mention of an additional pet fee ($15 per per night), nor another $60 hold on your card when you check in. Had I known that, I would have spent more effort finding somewhere else to stay. The only saving grace was the person who checked me in was very pleasant.

I luv it I will be booking again

Very quiet and clean. Close to town and shopped. You can tell the room we're newly remodeled . Over all it was great . Staff were nice as well.

Beds were okay. But wish they was a little more comfortable and a little better pillows. But over all not bad at all took us a nite and we got used to it to the bed .

Quiet, very clean and upsacle

The room was clean and as described. Rachel was great at check out. Sofa bed was thin and very uncomfortable and did not have a sheet available.
