The hotel is on a run down street with absolutely nothing of interest within 2 blocks. It is a good 20 minutes walk to the old city, where there are many hotels at a fraction of the cost of this ridiculously expensive one. For the price, we thought we would get something special, but what we got was a small sanitized room with a bed that was too hard and a shower whose temperature it was extremely hard to control. If this place had cost 30% of what it ended up costing, I would have said, alright, it's worth saving a bit to be a ways away from the sites of interest. As it is, it's just a poor choice. I'm very annoyed with myself, a seasoned traveller, for having selected it.

Indeling van de kamer was wat vreemd een kant van het bed had geen leeslamp en een loze ruimte achter het bed. Licht bij de wastafel was matig als je je een beetje op wil maken.

The hotel has a very unique layout and was clean, but it wasn’t to my personal taste. The bathroom design offers very little privacy. There is no proper bathroom door, only a partially covering translucent curtain. The glass shower can be seen from multiple areas of the room, including through a glass panel behind the headboard of the bed. The shower area can also be accessed through several open gaps without doors, and depending on the angle, it seems possible to see into the shower area from the room entrance if the door is opened. I stayed here with a female friend on a girls’ trip, and we found the layout somewhat uncomfortable because there are several sightlines into the bathroom and shower areas. While some guests may appreciate the unconventional design, it did not feel particularly private or comfortable for us.
