Ryokan Kibun

Very nice staff and amazing food

Really nice location with food and station close by. Nice rooms and bath. Staff really nice even though we spoke little Japanese.

This a ryokan that doesn't seem to have changed much in the last thirty or so years. Very friendly personnel, but it's a real bonus if you speak Japanese. It seems very popular locally for diner, but we only had breakfast which was good. No futons but beds, and they were nice and comfortable. Bath facilities are a little dated, but suited us well enough. Yukata and towels provided are fine. Certainly value for money.

Breakfast is not offered, but available if you ask. We did not inquire after diner, but since the place was obviously booked full that should be available as well. It's an old place, so the walls are a bit thin, but that didn't much bother us.
