Extended Stay America Suites - Washington, DC - Sterling

Breakfast was a grab and go. Very basic but worked.

We like the room. It's spacious, clean & very fit for the need of short-term travelers like us. The location is easy to locate & parking is no problem which is essential.

Hallways and room smelled of pet odors. My daughter is highly allergic to dogs and her allergies were flared up terribly after first night. Bugs walking around bathroom and in tub. Minimal soap and such. Air conditioning malfunctioned fan didn’t work. Table in room was too wobbly to comfortably use & only one chair to use. Bed was lifting up if someone sat on end. TV worked for brief period. “Stocked kitchen” had nothing to cook with or coffee pot. Breakfast items were minimal and creamer for coffee didn’t work. Couldn’t report to a staff member as never saw any except on check in…….

First room had a bad smell that was much worse when we went into the bathroom. Staff was very kind and took us to a second room where they tried to go in before us and spray lemon scented spray (I think they knew the second room was going to smell just as bad). Second room also smelled so bad we had no choice but to cancel and go somewhere else. Nice people but the hotel seems to have an odor problem.

I didn’t like anything about this gross gross property.

This property was so horrible, dirty smellled horrible. There was no ice machine on the property. I would not recommend this property to no one even an animal. Normally i would take a shower in the mornings and didn’t do that either. The bath tub had black in it and just gross

I had to leave three nights early and still can’t get my money back for Friday night, Saturday night and Sunday night because I booked through you crooks. Absolutely wrong. I’ll never book with you again and I work for a multibillion dollar company and travel all year long.
