"Fantastic spot to explore Schwartzwald!"

Everything was fantastic. Sabine is a wonderful host, she manages to be both super helpful and warm while also giving you lots of space. The beds are outstandingly comfortable. Breakfast was great. The garden was beautiful and the location was super for exploring the local area. As we stayed two nights we were given a pass for attractions in the local area- some free and some discounted. This was so valuable, we couldn’t believe it! So many fantastic things to do in Schwartzwald. We’ll definitely be back and will recommend it to our friends. Thanks Sabine and the team!

"Exceptional"

I had a lovely stay at the Sonnenschein Hotel. The hosts are just adorable, both from the Hotel as from the restaurant. Rooms comfy, food very good, kindness all around, forest just down the road for beautiful walks,... What else do you need ? I warmly recommend this place.

"Beautiful Hotel in the Black Forest"

Beautiful location, welcoming and helpful staff, the rooms have new furniture, the beds are very comfortable, smart TV with Netflix App, modern and cozy restaurant, plenty of parking spots, free warm beverages and snacks for guests all through the day at the restaurant.

The bathroom was a bit old.

"A nice countryside retreat"

The host warmly welcomed us. Rooms are clean and tidy. Great location from which to explore the black forest area and have access nearby to shops and restaurants.
