Room was clean and spacious.

Didn't like that it wasn't made clear that there was no AC until after I booked. Wasn't a big deal since it was cool, but that would have been a problem a month ago. Breakfast was all cold unless you make your own waffle. Breakfast eating area is ridiculously small. Poor communication with the hotel exasperated by the hotel's lack of proper integration with booking.com. The hotel is set up to auto-generate messages through booking.com's messaging system, but the hotel doesn't actually use the messaging system outside of sending automated messages. When I opened the initial automated message, I saw that it had previously already generated a request from me to the hotel for a crib (which I had requested as part of the booking process). The hotel never responded to that message or to the follow-up message I sent a few days later as a response to their welcome message (despite a banner from booking.com indicating that the hotel typically responds quickly - within a day). I wound up calling before leaving to confirm the crib and was a little perturbed that the front desk threw it back at me that they didn't see a crib request as part of my booking and made it seem like they were doing me a favor by seeing about fulfilling the request. I'm not suggesting being treated as "the customer is always right", but I would prefer not to be treated as if "the customer is lying" in a situation where the customer has a paper trail that shows they're demonstrably correct. Calling someone out (for maybe the weirdest thing to lie about) as not being truthful about having made a crib request and then making it seem like you're doing them a favor instead of just apologizing and making it right is just bizarre. I guess that's just customer service in 2025? Bring on the AI customer service reps!
